The Town of Cobourg is inviting you to be part of the action at the Cobourg Community Centre, when the 2025 Men's and Women's Ontario Curling Championships come to town Jan. 19 to 26.

Nov. 30 at 6 p.m. is when Santa Claus comes to town – in Cobourg, at the annual Santa Claus Parade.

The walk ends on Queen Street at Memorial Park, where there will be live music, hot cider and a countdown to the park lighting display. If you'd like a warm-up, drop into the Knights of Columbus Hall for hot chocolate and the official Walton Street Phase 2 Wrap-Up celebratory cake provided by Port Hope council.

At 6 p.m. Nov. 13 – the day believed to be the closing date of the former Brookside Youth Centre and potentially the end of the year-long homeless encampment there – Northumberland County will finally open the ground-floor warming room of their shelter at 310 Division St., Cobourg.
