SWEET SEASONS - Dale Patterson

Fridays at 10am

It's a trip back in time. Every week Dale Patterson selects a "Season" in Top 40 rock 'n roll history and plays the music from that time. He also looks back at the news events of that time, the popular TV shows and what was playing in movie theatres. It could be the summer of 1963, the spring of 1968, the winter of 1975 or the fall of 1981. Tune in and find out!

SUNDAY COFFEE HOUSE - GREG SCHATZMANN

SUNDAYS AT NOON

Hosted by a professor of radio broadcasting (so you know it’s well-timed and well-structured), this focuses on the kind of music you’d hear in a hip coffeehouse on a Sunday: mellow, acoustic, jazz-inflected folk. Very listenable voice.

SUNDAY MORNING BRUNCH - GLENN MCLAREN

SUNDAYS AT 7AM

Early-morning wake-up featuring very diverse music selection, ranging from funk to soul to classic rock to disco to the lighter strains of ‘70s soft-rock and r&b. Focuses on the concept of ‘double-shots’ (i.e. playing two of one artist in a row, so as not to lose the general ‘vibe’ so easily).

SWINGTIME

Thursdays at 2pm

Live from The Cloud Room high atop The Hotel Nostalgia, Pete Smith plays everything from big bands and crooners to jazz and adult contemporary. Join Pete Thursdays at 2pm for an hour of easy listening favourites on Swingtime!

THE GIB SHOW

Tuesdays 4-5pm

Kevin Gibson brings nearly two decades of sports media experience with him to his sports radio talk show. In addition to his television and radio experience he is also the author of four hockey books and taught sports journalism to University students for two years.

He's also the veteran of four marathons, including Boston and New York City, so don't run after him, unless you're in a car. A resident of Port Hope, his show will touch on what's happening in pro sports, with guests that will include athletes and media personalities. Gibby brings his sense of humour, sports knowledge and love for 80's hair metal to The Gib Show
