Interested in Serving on Northumberland 89.7 FM’s Board of Directors?

Board leadership is critical to the continuing success of Northumberland 89.7 FM (N897). To that end, we would like to hear from community members who would be interested in serving on N897’s Board of Directors.

This is an unpaid volunteer role requiring, at minimum, the ability to attend evening Board of Director meetings on a bi-monthly basis.

To express your interest, please email chairperson@northumberland897.ca by November 15, 2026. Your email must include:

● a résumé that demonstrates your work, volunteer, and board experience;

● a cover letter, addressed to the “N897 Nominating Committee”, that

references the skills and abilities you would bring to the Board; and

● the names and contact information (i.e., a telephone number and an email

address) for two character references.
