Port Hope Public Library extending closure

By Olivia Waldriff

The Port Hope Public Library has extended its closure until May 12.

The extension comes after Ontario extended their Declaration of Emergency for 28 more days last Monday.

Borrowers can still access electronic materials like Flipster, which has free online magazines, Libby, which has free e-book and audiobook downloads and Mango Languages which are all available on the Port Hope Public Library website.

Anyone without a library card can sign up for a temporary card on the website as well.

Library loan dates are extended and fines have been dropped as well, the book drop remains open 24/7.
