The Cobourg Angels won the bronze medal Sunday at the Provincial Women’s Softball Association U15 Tier 2 Grand Championship in Stratford.
The Angels edged London 7-6. Journi Turner was the winning pitcher while Lexie Griffiths was named top player for the bronze medal game.
Also members of the team are Layla Pollock, Avery Collins, Amy Hall, Madison Torrieri, Kylie Rutherford, Megan Nichols, Ella Noonan, Karissa Pattison, Alana Masters and Chelsea Clark. Derek Turner is the head coach with assistants Daryl Hall, Sharon Collins and Bobbi-Jo Turner.
