With a view to a May 1 start for work on the reconstruction on a section of Densmore Road (from west of the Rosewood Estates entrance to 100 metres east of Parkview Hills Drive), the Town of Cobourg invites citizens to learn more about it at a public-information centre to be held March 21.
This project is the proposed reconstruction of the road to an urban standard, the town's press release said. The work will include a sidewalk on the south side from Rosewood Estates to Parkview Hills Drive, as well as the installation of concrete curb and gutters, grassed boulevards, sanitary sewers and storm sewers.
The March 21 event will run from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Cobourg fire hall training room (111 Elgin St. E.). Design drawings will be available to review, and staff will be on hand to answer questions.
Anyone who is unable to attend and would like further information can direct input, questions or concerns to Laurie Wills or Terry Hoekstra at 905-372-9971.
