Davis’ Independent grocery has donated 7,100 dollars to Northumberland Hills Hospital.
This will lead to the purchase of 2 pieces of equipment for the hospital, a new centrifuge for the Laboratory, at a cost of 5,000 dollars, has been purchased and the remaining 2,100 dollars will purchase a Rehabilitation Trainer for dialysis patients.
In a press release, the Hospital thanked Davis Independent and their staff. A check for the amount was presented by owner Scott Davis and Valerie Tanner, the Community Events Coordinator.
