Mayor John Henderson reminds everyone of the impending Ontario Guild of Town Criers provincial championships taking place locally June 1.
The event will feature two cries in Cobourg, taking place at the Promenade park between 9 a.m. and noon. A third cry will take place at the Grafton Village Inn in the afternoon.
Henderson has arranged an alternate location for the Cobourg events in case of inclement weather, in which case these cries will be moved to William Academy (formerly CDCI West) at 135 King St. W.
