Marie Dressler Appreciation Day

November 9 will mark the 149th birthday of Cobourg-born Academy Award winning actress, Marie Dressler.  

Once again Cobourg will proclaim the date as Marie Dressler Celebration Day.  

A birthday party of sorts will be held at the Citizen’s Forum in Victoria Hall where a 15-minute film will be shown on the development of the Marie Dressler Museum and Marie Dressler butter tarts will be served. 

The public is invited to the party.
