Community Care Northumberland is calling all golfers to Grafton Aug. 16 for the Your TV Cogeco Caring Fore Our Community annual charity golf tournament at Shelter Valley Pines.

Community Care Chief Executive Officer Trish Baird said they are very pleased to announce Your TV/Cogeco as the event's title sponsor.

“Your TV/Cogeco are very supportive of Community Care through our local community programming, and we thank them for committing to sponsor this year's event,” she said in the announcement.

Proceeds will support Community Care programming that benefits Northumberland residents through such services as nutrition, transportation, wellness programs, in-home services and hospice services.

Both team and individual registrations are welcome at $140 per golfer. The tournament is a shotgun start, best ball foursome/scramble format, and your entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, power cart, continental breakfast and lunch, and a $40 tax-deductible receipt.

Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. For the 9:30 a.m. Shotgun start, and there will be prizes for top ladies', top men's and top ladies-men mixed teams.

There's also an optional package where, for an additional $20, you get entrance to all games and prizes as well as a golfer's dream swag bag.
