By Cecilia Nasmith
Venture 13 – Eastern Ontario's newest innovation and entrepreneurship centre – is pleased to offer one-on-one mentoring sessions through the Partner Office Hours Program.
Open to both VentureZone clients and anyone else who is interested, the program will run Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to noon.
The press release from the Town of Cobourg noted that (on a rotational basis) the Northumberland Community Futures Development Corporation, the town's economic-development department and the Northumberland Manufacturers Association will offer mentoring on five areas of focus – business strategy and development, financing and loans, marketing, economic development, and manufacdturing.
“These exclusive one-on-one sessions are available to start-ups, entrepreneurs and innovators without charge,” the press release said.
“Ideal for gaining mentorship, advice, support and stategic feedback from leaders from across the Eastern Ontario innovation corridor, Venture 13 Partners will provide helpful industry connections, advice on accessing programs, and information on ways to collaborate that could advance projects or business.”
