Rebecca Thomas-Lorenzon was awarded the Governor General’s Exemplary Service Medal in recognition of twenty years of exceptional service, and Michael Stumpf was awarded a ‘bar’ commemorating 30 years of service, to accompany his previously-awarded Exemplary Service Medal.
“On behalf of County Council, we commend these individuals for their years of outstanding service,” states Acting County Warden Bob Sanderson. “First responders often face unique challenges in their role, requiring immense training, skill and care. It is with great respect that we recognize these individuals, who have gone above and beyond to preserve the safety of our community through years of dedicated service and volunteerism.”
