Northumberland Soccer Club plans its 2021 season

By Cecilia Nasmith

With hopes of a 2021 season, Northumberland Soccer Club President Ryan Goodall announces Early Bird Registration through March 14.

The non-profit association was forced to close down last year due to COVID-19, but the House League Program for players aged three to adult hopes for better luck this year.

Registration includes a soccer uniform – shorts, socks and jersey. To sign up, visit https://northumberlandsoccer.powerupsports.com/ and choose the correct registration from such headings as 2021 Youth Outdoor Soccer » COB Under 7 and 2021 Youth Outdoor Soccer » PH Under 7.

Even though Port Hope and Cobourg Soccer Club is now one club under the name Northumberland Soccer Club, the goal is simple - play in the community where you live.

If you live in Port Hope and your child is between the ages of 3 and 10, he or she will play only in Port Hope. If you live in Cobourg, the same will also apply for those ages.

Any players in U11 and up will play in a division of players from both communities, with weekly games alternating between the two communities.

For any questions or issues with registering, please contact club administrator Frances Martin at info@northumberlandsoccer.com or 905-377-9361.
