The Art Gallery of Northumberland has opened its latest show with a stunning display of the works by Donald Stuart.
Stuart is a former Director of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts, a recipient of the Orders of Canada and Ontario and a master metalsmith.
Since 2009, his passion has been to pay homage to 40 outstanding Canadian women who have contributed to shaping Canada, such as Emily Carr, cosmetic giant Elizabeth Arden and our next Governor General, Julie Payette.
The exhibition is on view Tuesday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4:00 p.m. until October 29.
On October 18 at 2:00 p.m., Don Stuart will be on hand to discuss his work and the Homage collection.
The Gallery is located on the 3rd floor of Victoria Hall in Cobourg.
