The Municipality of Cramahe Township is pleased to announce the appointment of Victoria Heffernan as Planner.

“We welcome Victoria's professional expertise and leadership to Cramahe Township,” Mayor Mandy Martin said in the announcement.

“Victoria has a well-respected depth of planning and environmental-sciences knowledge.
After obtaining a bachelor of science honours degree from the University of Guelph in biological sciences, Heffernan completed a graduate diploma in environmental management and assessment from Algonquin College (where she made the Dean's List).

She has worked both internationally and locally, completing assessments and monitoring changes in biodiversity and forest growth. Over the past few years, she has transitioned to policy and planning work for the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, as well as with many Conservation Authorities. Most recently, she was an Assistant Planner with Lower Trent Conservation.

“I look forward to contributing to Cramahe Township's continued development as a vibrant and sustainable rural community,” Heffernan said.
