Looking ahead to the 2022 budget process, the Town of Cobourg announces that applications are now being accepted for another year's Municipal Community Grant Program as part of those deliberations.
Each year council considers applications from community organizations that are requesting funding for a variety of purposes, such as community projects, help with operating expenses, in-kind contributions, parking permits, and special and community events.
“The Town of Cobourg is pleased to continue to support local non-profits and community-based groups that contribute towards the quality of life for residents, and welcomes all interested organizations to submit an application,” the announcement said.
Anyone interested in pursuing this process for 2022 is encouraged to review the town's Municipal Community Grant Policy – which explains the grants available, eligibility criteria and the grant-review and reporting process – before submitting the Municipal Grant Application form.
The application (along with any required documentation) must be submitted by 4 p.m. Oct. 31.
Applicants who were successful in receiving a 2021 Municipal Community Grant and would like to be considered again for 2022 must make their submissions by 4 p.m. Sept. 30.
