Shortly before midnight Thursday night, Cobourg Police Service attended a business in the downtown area after receiving a 911 call reporting a robbery in progress. During the investigation one man was located and arrested for the incident.
Terry Beaton, 32 years old from Cobourg was charged with the offences of Robbery, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Assault, Disguise with Intent, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000.
Beaton is being held for a Bail hearing scheduled for 9:30am on the 17 th day of November 2017, in the Ontario Court of Justice.
The Cobourg Police Service Criminal Investigation Branch are still investigating the identity of a second suspect.
