Community Care Northumberland announces the Your TV Cogeco Caring Fore Our Community annual golf tournament June 22 at the Shelter Valley Pines Golf Club in Grafton.
Community Care Chief Executive Officer Trish Baird said they are happy to announce the return of Your TV Cogeco as title sponsor.
“They have been very supportive of Community Care through their local community programming, and we thank them for committing to sponsor our event once again,” Baird stated in the press release.
Proceeds from the event will directly support those in the community for whom Community Care services make a meaningful difference in their lives by supporting programs like nutrition, transportation, in-home services, wellness programs and hospice services.
“On behalf of our clients and volunteers, we give our heartfelt thanks for considering participating in this year's golf tournament,” she said.
The tournament is a shotgun-start best-ball foursome/scramble. Register as an individual or as a team, at $150 per golfer. The fee includes 18 holes of golf, power cart, continental breakfast, lunch and a $30 tax-deductible receipt.
Registration opens at 8 a.m. With a 9 a.m. Shotgun start. There will be prizes for top ladies', top men's and top mixed teams. And for an additional $20, you can buy an activity package that includes entrance to all games and prizes, as well as a Golfer's Dream swag bag.
