by Marc Cowin

Downtown Cobourg had a large gathering of dignitaries and onlookers this morning, for a series of Grand Openings.

MP Philip Lawrence, Paige Wiggans (on behalf of MPP David Picinni), Cobourg Mayor John Henderson, DBIA Chair Erica Cotton, and Northumberland Central Chamber of Commerce Chair Denise Lib oiron were the guest speakers to welcome three of the lastest businesses to celebrate a Grand Opening in downtown Cobourg.

The group met at 11 am at The Kingsmen – Barbers On King. There the DBIA's co-ordinator Allyson McLean introduced the guest speakers who each presented owners Steve and Lindsay Grimley with a certificate to commemorate the event, and to offer their congratulations.
