In the early morning hours of Tuesday, November 14th, Cobourg Police Service Criminal Investigative Branch executed an arrest warrant. Brody Redick, 21, of Cobourg was arrested and charged with Failing to Attend Court and Breach of Recognizance.
Redick, 21, is accused of break and enter and theft under $5,000 from an incident in March but failed to appear at his November 8th court date at which time the warrant was issued.
Brody Redick's name was in the headlines back in June of this year after a serious assault sent a man to Sunnybrook Hospital. Redick and a co-accused were arrested and charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.
