Cornerstone Family Violence Prevention Centre extends congratulations to Madeleine Thibault-Smith, the winner of their $10,000 Hope Grows lottery.
Cornerstone also thanks the community for its support of this important fundraiser – which helped ensure that the agency has been able to operate continuously throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We greatly appreciate the support and involvement from the community in our first-ever Hope Grows lottery,” Cornerstone Executive Director Nancy Johnston said in the announcement.
“Funds raised through the Hope Grows lottery will help fund the programs and services women and children impacted by violence so desperately need.”
“There are not enough words to properly express our gratitude for the great efforts that have been put into Cornerstone's first-ever lottery,” Manager of Communications and Donor Relations Carly Cunningham added.
“Whether you helped to promote the lottery or were kind enough to purchase a ticket or three, you have all helped to make this year's lottery a success.”
Other partners in this success to whom Cornerstone extended special thanks for their sponsorship include HTM Insurance, National Shunt Services Inc., Pace Network, Dalren General Contractor, Spoolon Manufacturing Ltd., Lynn Hardy RBC Wealth Management and Karen Chalovich BMO Nesbitt Burns.
