Northumberland Players organizes ticket swap

Though the show can't go on for the originally run of the Northumberland Players dinner-theatre production of Honky Tonk Angels, it will go on in the fall.

Players president Jack Boyagian has announced that the originally planned April 24-May 10 run will now take place Oct. 23-Nov. 8. Tickets purchased for April 24 will be honoured on Oct. 23, with April 25 tickets honoured on Oct. 24, April 26 tickets on Oct. 25, May 1 tickets on Oct. 30, May 2 tickets on Oct. 31, May 3 tickets on Nov. 1, May 8 tickets on Nov. 6, May 9 tickets on Nov. 7 and May 10 tickets on Nov. 8.

The swap will be made automatically, with purchasers assigned the same table and seat as they originally bought tickets for.

Should the change not be agreeable, you can contact the venue – the Best Western Plus Inn and Convention Centre – at 905-372-2105 after April 20.

The change is being made in solidarity with provincial and Federal efforts to curb the effects of COVID-19, the announcement said.

“The Northumberland Players and Best Western Plus Cobourg Inn and Convention Centre value most the safety and health of its patrons, volunteers and staff,” it continued.

“We respect our patrons and will always work to satisfy your needs. Please help us by being patient. The show is great and, when we get past this crisis, we will celebrate in the fall.”
