They have pulled back from the original dates of Friday, June 19th with the Stones of Strength Competition, and the Friday night Ceilidh, and Saturday, June 20th, the day of the Games, and the Saturday night Ceilidh.
The games’ organizer thank the the cooperation of the Town of Cobourg for helping to make this possible, and all the equipment suppliers, vendors, Pipe Bands, Highland Dancers, Heavies, volunteers and others, who have helped them reschedule in such a short time.
The new date for the 57th Cobourg Highland Games are now aiming to run the Friday events on Friday, August 28th, and the Highland Games themselves, and the Saturday night Ceilidh, on Saturday August 29th.
This is subject to the current Covid-19 virus situation being resolved, and if restrictions are lifted that allow the event to run.
