Northumberland 89.7 FM Truly Local Radio is currently recruiting individuals interested in working with our skills-based volunteer Board.
The responsibilities of a Director include regular attendance at monthly Board Meetings, participation in at least one Board committee and a willingness to share their professional expertise and viewpoints with the Board for the benefit of the Board as a whole.
Board Members will hold full voting privileges on the Board, Board Committees they serve and at the Annual General Meeting.
The role of the Board is to provide strategic direction and oversight to the Northumberland 89.7 FM management team. As such, the Board of Directors is looking for people who have knowledge or expertise in legal, accounting, marketing, fundraising and community outreach disciplines and are committed to being team players willing to take on leadership roles with the Board.
Nominations should be submitted for consideration to Northumberland 89.7 FM on or before Thursday, January 31, 2020.
