New 5 Counties Children's Centre Officially Opened
Ontario's Minister of Children and Youth services, the Hon. Michael Coteau and Northumberland-Quinte West M.P.P Lou Rinaldi were on hand Monday to open the new Five Counties Children's Centre at 800 Division Street in Cobourg. The Province is kicking in almost half a million dollars for the state-of-the-art facility. The centre offers a range of services including social work, audiology and therapeutic recreation. The centre has relocated from the town-owned Northam Industrial Park to a more accessible and larger facility. Cobourg Mayor Gil Brocanier speaking at the opening said: "We have lost a tenant but gained a great new facility."
