The Ruth Clarke Activity Centre for Seniors (RCAC) will welcome the community back on Tuesday, August 1, opening at noon, after recent flooding from heavy rainfall in June closed the Centre for repairs.
Jim McCormack, Director of Parks, Recreation & Culture at the Municipality of Port Hope said he is pleased with the outcome of the repairs and town staff is eager to welcome members back to the Centre.
While the repairs were taking place, programming was re-located to various facilities throughout the Municipality, which ensured the continuity of activities and events. A new schedule for activities taking place in August is posted on the Ruth Clark Activity Centre website. http://porthope.ca/ruth-clarke-activity-centre-for-seniors
