Cobourg Police need your help

The Cobourg Police Service continues to seek the public’s assistance in locating a man who fled from police during a traffic stop in the Town of Cobourg on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. 

Police continue to search for Gerald Cooper, a 52-year-old resident of Cobourg.

It is a criminal offence to assist someone in evading arrest. Individuals found to be helping Cooper avoid arrest will be arrested and charged accordingly.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the police at 905-372-6821. Tips may be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS or online by visiting www.stopcrimehere.ca. Tips received through Crime Stoppers may be eligible for a cash reward.
