Premier's New Cabinet

Doug Ford unveiled his 21 member cabinet this morning at his swearing-in at Queen's Park.

Included in his cabinet are a mix of long-term MPP's along with a number of rookies.

Ford has streamlined this government by merging several departments.

Included in the cabinet are;

  • Christine Elliott as Minister of Health and Long Term Care and Deputy Premier

  • Vic Fedeli as Minister of Finance and Chair of Cabinet

  • Ernie Hardeman as Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs

  • Lisa MacLeod as Minister of Children, Community and Social Services & Minister Responsible for Women's Issues

  • Caroline Mulroney as Attorney General and Minister Responsible for Francophone Affairs

  • Todd Smith as Minister of Government and Consumer Services and Government House Leader

  • Lisa Thompson as Minister of Education

  • Jim Wilson as Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade

  • John Yakabuski as Minister of Transport

  • Laurie Scott as Minister of Labour

  • Rod Phillips as Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parklands

As well as being Premier, Doug Ford has also assumed the role of Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs.
