Port Hope Council on Tuesday night approved the Purchase and Sale of two lots in the Port Hope Business Park on Tuesday night. The first sale is for a 1.1 acre parcel of vacant land fronting on the east side
of Henderson Street. The new building on the site will house a real estate office along with offices for other financial businesses including accounting firms, mortgage brokers and law firms. Angela Grogan is purchasing this property in trust for a yet to be named Ontario numbered company.

The second sale is for another 1.1 acre parcel of vacant land, also fronting on the east side of Henderson Street. The new building will house several new medical offices and suites. Dr. Alban Merepeza is heading up this new
venture along with several doctors who are purchasing this property in trust for a yet to be named Ontario numbered company.

These two sales will provide a number of new jobs in the community and will provide much needed commercial tax revenue for the Municipality.
