Coffee Morning

By Olivia Waldriff

Northumberland’s Biggest Coffee Morning will be going virtual this year.

Since 2007 individuals, community groups and businesses have been asked to plan and host coffee get togethers or other gatherings like barbecues and cocktail parties and ask for donations for Northumberland Hills Hospital.

Natasha Jacobs, the special events officer for Northumberland Hills Hospital, says this year people can use different platforms like zoom or messenger to virtually connect with family and friends and host parties.

Jacobs explains why they decided to go virtual instead of cancelling.

Northumberland’s Biggest Virtual Coffee Morning will be ongoing for the entire month of May.

Anyone interested in registering can go to the Northumberland Hills Hospital website.
