The Town of Cobourg has announced holiday hours for its municipal facilities, including Victoria Hall, the Cobourg Community Centre, the Venture 13 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre, Cobourg Transit and the Art Gallery of Northumberland.
For Victoria Hall, Venture 13 and other municipal buildings, regular business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. apply Monday, Dec. 23, and Monday, Dec. 30. Otherwise, the buildings are closed Wednesday, Dec. 25, Thursday, Dec. 26, Friday, Dec. 27, and Wednesday, Jan. 1. Shortened hours of 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. will apply on both Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
The Cobourg Community Centre will have regular hours on Monday, Dec. 23, and Friday, Dec. 27, and will accommodate pre-booked rentals only on Tuesday, Dec. 24 (with the reception area closed). The facility will be closed complete on Christmas, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
Cobourg Transit and WHEELS will have regular services schedules (6:15 a.m. to 7:45 p.m.) Monday, Dec. 23, Thursday, Dec. 26, and Monday, Dec. 30. Otherwise, there is no service Christmas and New Year's Day, with shortened hours (6:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., ending at Northumberland Mall) on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
The Art Gallery of Northumberland will have regular hours (noon to 4 p.m.) on Saturday, Dec. 28, and Sunday, Dec. 29, as well as on New Year's Day. Otherwise, it will be closed Monday, Dec. 23 through Friday Dec. 27, as well as on Monday, Dec. 30.
