Summer Company Student Project

Twelve candidates from a pool of 40 were accepted this year into Northumberland County's Summer Company project, which launched Wednesday morning at Staples Cobourg location.  Eligible students are aged 15-29 and start and run their own business over the summer with mentorship and a $3,000 provincial micro grant administered by the County.  This year's business winners include lawn care, jewelry making, gluten free baking, artist, computer repair, personal fitness and handmade clothing.
