NHH Gala Platinum Sponsors

By Cecilia Nasmith

With Gala 2022 – A Black Tie Evening only two weeks away, the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation announces that this year's event has the highest number of Platinum Sponsors ever, with the total standing at seven.

This means a lot to organizers, as this year's gala marks the return of an annual tradition after a two-year COVID-19 hiatus in which alternative forms of the event had to be organized.

Gala Sponsorship Chair Trenholm Parker pointed out in the press release that there are also three Gold, seven Silver and six Spirit Sponsors to date.

“This strong support sends a clear message of how much our local businesses value having high-quality care close to home, and a hospital well equipped to care for their teams, families, clients and friends,” Parker said.

The Platinum Sponsors list sees the return of some previous Platinum listers – Cameco, HTM and McCracken Towing Inc. Previous supporters Spoolon, National Shunt Service Ltd. and Canadian Tire Cobourg have increased their sponsorship to attain the Platinum level. Rounding out the list is a new sponsor, Farrow & Associates Real Estate.

“Growing up in Northumberland and working within the real estate industry, you quickly realize how important it is that our community is supported by strong health care and a thriving hospital,” Farrow & Associates spokesman Aaron Farrow commented.

“Countless times, residents currently living in Northumberland – or moving to the area from a distance – factor in the proximity to our hospital as a significant feature in deciding where they choose to call home. We want to ensure we are supporting the needs of our clients and our community, and felt that contributing to the NHH is an amazing way to do that.”

This year's Gold Sponsors include Kawartha Credit Union, Lubricon and Vandermeer Toyota, followed by Silver Sponsors Trade Tech Industries, the Moulton Family, Third Street Law, IBEW – Electrical Union, Stevenson Building Products, Boomer Brand Management and Mawer.

Gala 2022 – A Black Tie Evening will take place Saturday, Nov. 5 at Cobourg's Lions Community Centre, with all proceeds supporting the purchase of life-saving medical equipment at NHH.
