The Town of Cobourg's Community Services Division is pleased to announce the launch of its 2022 Fall and Winter Leisure Guide, outlining the many cultural and recreational programs in the community.
The announcement calls the guide Cobourg's community source for arts, culture and recreational activities featuring a variety of registered and drop-in programs this fall and winter that are targeted to all age groups, from children to seniors.
“We are exited to present this updated Leisure Guide for our community,” Director of Community Service Brian Geerts said.
“We hope residents enjoy reading through the guide, and keeping it close at hand to connect with the hundreds of wonderful recreation and cultural opportunities in Cobourg.”
Information in the guide is organized into such categories as arts and culture, recreation and programming, and groups/clubs and associations. A new addition to the guide is a section with commonly asked resident questions designed to offer guidance for those searching for information on town services.
The guide came to Cobourg homes in the Oct. 13 edition of Northumberland News. Copies are also available in locations around town, including Victoria Hall, the Cobourg Public Library and the Cobourg Community Centre. And an electronic version is available on-line at ExperienceCobourg.ca
The team behind the guide is reaching out to organizations hoping to promote their community-based sports, culture and recreation programs and classes – although they hope they have captured all programs and services within the town, some may have been missed. To be included in the next guide (or for information on advertising), contact Manager of Culture Jackie Chapman-Davis at jchapmandavis@cobourg.ca
