On Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, at noon, the Cobourg Police Service (CPS) will be kicking off Pride month by raising the Pride flag at the police station (107 King Street West) in Cobourg. This is the seventh year that CPS has raised the pride flag.
CPS will be joined by Ashley Bouman, Chapter Leader of PFLAG Cobourg/Port Hope and Cofounder of the Cobourg Queer Collective.
CPS will host a community barbeque following the flag raising until 2:00 p.m. at the station. Donations will be
accepted to support PFLAG Cobourg/Port Hope.
Everyone is welcome to attend the flag raising ceremony and barbeque.
