The Community Employment Resource Partnership is hosting its annual Northumberland County Job Fair for local employers and job seekers March 7 at the Cobourg Lion Centre.
CERP has lined up more than 22 employers who are registered to participate in the event and connect with potential employees. Their plans include recruiting for more than 100 various jobs and summer-student opportunities in such sectors as health care, manufacturing (including skilled trades and general labourers), retail and customer service, landscaping and food services.
Some employers may be conducting on-site interviews with qualified applications, so job seekers are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their cover letters and resumes, ad to dress in interview-appropriate attire.
The Lions Centre is located at 157 Elgin St. E. in Cobourg, and the event runs from 4 to 6 p.m.
