Cobourg Police seeking to identify suspects in theft investigation
As part of an ongoing investigation, the Cobourg Police Service is looking to identify three individuals involved in a theft in town.
Around 1:15 p.m. May 23rd, officers responded to a call for a theft from a change room locker at a community recreation center. The victim discovered their wallet had been stolen and received notification of four fraudulent purchases made with a debit and credit card at businesses in Cobourg. Police obtained CCTV footage of the individuals making the purchases and are looking to identify the three suspects in photos.
It is believed the same suspects may be involved in similar thefts in other jurisdictions.
