In addition to the regular 6 p.m. committee-of-the-whole council meeting on Nov. 16, the Town of Cobourg has announced a special 1:30 p.m. committee-of-the-whole meeting to focus on the final presentation by KPMG on its Town of Cobourg Service Delivery Review.
KPMG has presented quarterly updates throughout the process of the review, examining service delivery in comparative municipalities, explaining the difference among mandated, desirable and traditional kinds of services, and looking at what possibilities exist in terms of cost savings or improved efficiency.
As per the vote at last week's council session, these meetings – like all meetings through the end of 2020 – will be virtual.
