Horizon Plastics Adding More Jobs

Horizon Plastics International has announced that domestic and international growth for high quality products from the manufacturer has led to the need for more than 20 full-time jobs.

The jobs with benefits are available immediately.  The available positions are on its operator team working a 12-hour continental shift structure.

Horizon says it recently increased the wages for new operators to a starting rate of $16/hour, which increases up to $16.75 before one year.

Their current requirement for new full-time positions is in response to expanded production demands and also new exciting product designs.

Established in Cobourg in 1972, Horizon Plastics International employs more than 200 people in the community.  Some products made at the Cobourg plant are building products, industrial components and environmental products.
