Learn more about Northumberland broadband and digital initiatives

By Cecilia Nasmith

Northumberland residents are invited to join county IT director Tony Paulic and Eastern Ontario Regional Network CEO David Fell at one of two Sept. 25 presentations on broadband and digital initiatives in Northumberland.

The programs – to be offered in Codrington and Baltimore – will include an overview of EORN plans to improve cellular and broadband connectivity in Northumberland and across Eastern Ontario, as well as information about Northumberland County’s recently-released Digital Strategy 2019.

These initiatives focus on increasing access to fast, reliable internet in Northumberland, and ways to use innovation and technology to engage with residents, improve service delivery and drive local economic development.

You can learn more at the Codrington session (2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Codrington Community Centre, 2992 County Rd. 30) or the Baltimore session (6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Baltimore Community Centre, 23 Community Centre Rd.) on Sept. 25 – or visit Northumberland.ca/SMARTnorthumberland.
