Now that it's time to put away those holiday decorations, the Town of Cobourg has advised that its Public Works Department will begin picking up Christmas trees at curbside Jan. 13.
Citizens are asked to set them out on the night prior to pick-up and to ensure they are appropriately prepared – not wrapped in plastic, with all nails, metal, ornaments, tree stands and tinsel removed.
Citizens are also reminded that pick-up on any given day may be delayed due to weather conditions.
