Northumberland County council has announced a special meeting to take place at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday regarding the shelter it wants to open at 310 Division St., Cobourg.

Looking ahead to the growth the county is experiencing, including the growth in staff necessarily to provide these services, the planning is beginning now.
