Nominate your choice now for 2025 Business Achievement Awards

The 22nd annual Business Achievement Awards will be presented March 28, and you have until Feb. 18 to nominate your favourite

Nominations are now open for the 22nd annual Business Achievement Awards.

Sponsored by the Town of Cobourg and the Northumberland Central Chamber of Commerce, these awards have recognized hundreds of outstanding businesses and individuals from the Townships of Hamilton and Alnwick-Haldimand as well as from Cobourg.

Chamber board chair (and Business Achievement Awards Committee co-chair) Alison Lester said these awards are an opportunity for businesses to showcase the work they are doing and the successes they have achieved.

β€œIt's an event that makes me proud of my neighbours in the business community and inspired by their stories,” Lester commented.

Qualifying businesses will be located and in operation for a minimum of two years in Cobourg or in the Townships of Alnwick-Haldimand or Hamilton (except for nominations in the New Start Up category).

Businesses cannot nominate themselves,and employees of the town and the Chamber of Commerce are not eligible for nomination.

Nominations can be submitted in the following categories:

  • Business and Consumer Services

  • Communications and Digital Media Technology

  • Health, Wellness and Beauty

  • Hospitality and Tourism

  • Manufacturing and Agribusiness

  • New Start-Up (for businesses that opened between Jan. 1, 2023, and Jan. 1, 2024)

  • Non-Profit

  • Retail Trade

  • Skilled Trades

In addition to these categories, winners of the William Crossen Young Professional's Award, the Town of Cobourg Mayor's Award and the Chamber Chair's Award will be announced during the ceremony.

The deadline is Feb. 18 for nominations, which you an submit at https://nccofc.ca

The Awards ceremony takes place on Friday, March 28, at the Best Western Plus Cobourg Inn and Convention Centre.
