Heat warning issued for Northumberland County

Local health officials are issuing a heat warning this weekend through Tuesday.

According to Environment Canada, temperatures for Northumberland County will be at least 30 degrees with nightly lows hovering around 20.

The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit advises the public to be aware of heat related illnesses such as dehydration, heat exhaustion and heat stroke can be dangerous for vulnerable populations.
