Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge and Peterborough Public Health Invites Board Applications

The newly-merged Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge and Peterborough Public Health unit is seeking public applicants for its Board of Health.

The board oversees public health services in Peterborough and Kawartha Lakes, the counties of Haliburton, Northumberland, and Peterborough, including the areas of Curve Lake, Hiawatha, and Alderville First Nations.

Applicants must be 18 or older, live within the listed catchment area, and not be current employees of the health unit.

Candidates with knowledge in areas such as advocacy, public health science, Indigenous governance, or legal and health system administration will be given priority.

However, the board welcomes applicants from all ranges of experience, who may not meet all listed criteria.

Applications are due by noon on Friday, July 25, 2025. Interested candidates can apply online at hkpr.on.ca.
