Filming for "The Greatest" Takes Place at Cobourg Beach

Filming for a new television series will take place in Cobourg July 8th, between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. 

A spin-off of the 1977 film about Muhammad Ali, The Greatest, will film scenes at Cobourg beach and along Willmott Street, between Normar Road and Thompson Street. 

A section of the beach is marked off for filming, however the public volleyball courts and most of the beach will remain accessible.

Lifeguard towers #3 and #4 have been temporarily repainted for filming.

Crew vehicles will be parked on the north side of Normar Road.

There are no planned road closures or use of municipal parking lots. 

The Town of Cobourg and the production company Reunion MA thanks the community for their cooperation during the shoot.
