Two Northumberland County men are facing several weapons charges, following a raid in Cobourg over the weekend.

Northumberland OPP say that a home in Hamilton Township was targeted over the past few weeks regarding firearm thefts.

While most of the firearms were recovered, several rifles and shotguns were unaccounted for.

OPP say they arrested Andrew Drysdale Sunday, prior to the warrant execution on John Street later that day, where Benjamin Staples was arrested.

Authorities say firearms, ammunition and 17 grams of suspected Fentanyl were seized in the raids.

Drysdale and Staples face over 30 charges, for weapons and drug and other offenses.
