Port Hope police charge driver after collision with wheelchair

Port Hope police have charged a motorist with dangerous driving, after the vehicle struck a motorized wheelchair in August.
Police say the collision occurred in the area of Jocelyn and Cavan Streets August 13.
Both the vehicle and the wheelchair were travelling eastbound on Jocelyn Street.
The operator of the wheelchair was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Police did not identify the driver.
