The Town of Cobourg is pleased to announce the opening of the new Experience Cobourg Tourism Information Hub at 35 Albert St., a welcoming space designed to connect visitors and residents with local experiences, attractions, events and businesses.

Located in Rotary Harbourfront Park just south of Victoria Hall, the space is designed to welcome visitors, showcase local attractions, support businesses, and help both residents and tourists explore the community – offering a variety of informational materials as well as locally inspired merchandise (including clothing offered by the Victoria Hall Volunteers).

The site will be staffed by the Experience Cobourg team, with such on-site amenities as washroom access and a security presence to support a safe and welcoming environment.

Cobourg's May-through-October peak tourism season draws thousands of visitors and residents to the town's waterfront and downtown, not to mention diverse arts, cultural and recreational offerings. Signature events such as the Sandcastle Festival and Waterfront Festival, along with campground and marina, continue to attract strong visitation.

Following the 11 a.m. ribbon cutting and official opening on June 12, the Hub will be open seven days a week until Aug. 31, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, with the possibility of extended hours based on staffing availability – as well as select hours through September and October.
