Cobourg makes alternate chiller arrangements

The Town of Cobourg's Corporate Services Division reports a delay in the Victoria Hall Chiller and Cooling Plant Replacement project.

Supply-chain issues have delayed the arrival of the permanent chiller units. With the temperatures warming, the town will be bringing in a temporary chiller unit that is expected to be operational by May 15.

This trailer-mounted temporary unit will be located at the rear of the building. The area around the trailer, as well as the ramp between the Fire Hall Theatre and the maintenance building, will be fenced off during this time.

The announcement noted that this temporary unit produces more noise than normal building operations, and the town thanks the community for its understanding.
